How it Works
How it Works
Can you use my logo if it's a PNG, JPEG, TIFF, or PSD?
No. But it’s a start. Those formats are raster images (flat) and distort or pixilate when enlarged.
What is Digitizing?
Digitizing is creating the sew file for your embroidery. We trace your design using our embroidery software into a format that tells the embroidery machines when the needle goes up and down, goes left and right, when to change thread colors, stitch types etc. all on the XYZ axis.
We start with the original artwork. From there we convert to a vector format, which is EPS, CDR, AI, or SVG. Then we will redraw it with embriodery software. After we are happy with the proof, we will test the stitch out and edit if needed.
Do I pay for artwork/digitizing fees?
Yes. But only once. As long as you have no changes, we’ll keep using these year after year!
I think I have the right format artwork... will you use mine?
Yeppers! No need to reinvent the wheel. Let’s do this!
